BLR will celebrate its 20th Anniversary in 2021. A near-casualty of Covid-19, BLR is now independent, and needs to become a self-sustaining literary journal.

**This project will be done virtually.**

Nonprofit: Bellevue Literary Review

BLR is a literary journal that uses fiction, nonfiction and poetry to creatively explore illness, health, and healing. Originally part of NYU Langone, BLR was shed from the medical center during the Covid pandemic, even as some of its editors were frontline Covid workers. Rather than fold, however, BLR reconstituted itself as an independent nonprofit. BLR now needs to plan and implement a revenue development strategy to ensure a self-sustaining, existence in a world that is grappling ever more deeply with health and its vulnerabilities.

Project: Revenue Development

This brainstorming session will focus on two key areas of revenue development:  General fundraising and paid subscriptions.
