Grace Outreach empowers low-income women of all ages to achieve their high school equivalency, college and career goals, and obtain financial independence.

Since 2004 Grace Outreach has been working with women in the Bronx to help them obtain their high school equivalency, succeed in college, and find career opportunities. The organization provides services including courses in TASC subjects, college and career prep classes, mentoring, tutoring, and career guidance to those in need.

Project: Create Board Governance Blueprint

Grace Outreach has an opportunity to better serve the community by strengthening Board governance, including:

• Evaluating Board and Board Committee roles and responsibilities.
• Assessing current board structure and potential alternatives and recommending a path forward.
• Helping the Board develop a process for strategic planning, including confirmation of the mission.

The project will help Grace Outreach’s Board build the capabilities to enable the organization to better meet its mission.
