Nonprofit: Life Story Club (LSC)

Life Story Club’s trained facilitators guide more than 1,500 lonely NY-area participants, often immigrants, through a weekly story exchange to foster positive peer support and create a legacy project they can share with friends and family. Clients are reached through many strategic partnerships, using ZOOM or phone (in many languages) and often face-to-face. This work aligns with the growing practice of health providers screening for loneliness as recommended by the Surgeon General Advisory (2023): Our Epidemic of Loneliness.

Project: Marketing

Since 2019, LSC has grown through partnerships with various organizations. COVID was a catalyst for rapid growth. Now, to move further towards self-sustainability, LSC needs a plan to increase visibility and expand the funnel of older adults joining clubs.

The objective of the project is to:

  • Develop a marketing strategy for LSC
  • Build brand awareness among end users, their caregivers/families, and organizations serving the aged population.
  • Grow Revenue for LSC.
