**This project will be done virtually.**

Nonprofit: Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan

JCC Manhattan is a center for Jewish life that brings people from all walks of life together to learn, raise families, stay healthy, work to improve the city and develop friendships through an active engagement with Jewish values, community, and tradition. The JCC welcomes and respects the pluralistic nature of our community. It offers many programs, for example a literacy program in NYC public schools staffed by volunteers, a program to welcome the LGBTQIA+ community, and a Sunday sports league for Sabbath-observing children who could not play in Saturday leagues.

Project: Strategy

JCC Manhattan nursery school has for many years operated a successful nursery school serving families with young children. Recently, the enrollment pipeline seems to have changed, leading to fewer children enrolled. JCCM wants to develop a fact-based understanding of the reasons for this trend, and develop options for addressing them.

The objective of the project is to:

  1. Develop a thorough, fact-based understanding of the reasons for nursery school enrollment declines.
  2. Develop options for addressing enrollment declines and restoring enrollment pipeline.
