Nonprofit: The Juilliard School

The Juilliard School is a world class institution founded in 1905. The school offers a college curriculum for highly talented students in music, dance and drama as well as many pre-college, community, and Extension programs. Juilliard provides a gateway to a professional career in the performing arts and is a major contributor to the arts in New York City and beyond.

Project: Finance/Operations

The Juilliard School’s extensive facilities on Manhattan’s Upper West Side are underutilized during the summer. This Consulting engagement will explore the competitive landscape, seek to identify additional income producing users and review marketing of prior summer offerings.

The objective of the project is to:

  • Identify competitive landscape
  • Seek summer facilities use ideas from noncompetitive organizations and Juilliard staff.
  • Review marketing programs for existing summer offerings and suggest improvements.
  • Assist strategic review of summer facilities.
