The ACO presents programs of early modern music on period-correct instruments. The quality of their programs are high, but they need marketing guidance.

**This project will be done virtually.**

Nonprofit: American Classical Orchestra

Works by composers up to the romantic period were played on instruments different from today’s. They were made of organic materials, they were softer, and they had a more transparent tone. The ACO strives to bring this experience to music lovers in NYC. The ACO puts on a concert series in Lincoln Center, masterclasses, and a series for kids. The ACO was founded in 1985 and has been in NYC since 2005. With Thomas Crawford as artistic director, the ACO has worked with many world elite soloists.

Project: Marketing, Membership

The ACO produces concerts of early modern music in NYC. The quality of the concerts is high, but finding an audience has been challenging. The ACO has been well funded but needs to increase membership and audience for future funding.

  1. Increase audience size
  2. Increase membership
  3. Make ACO known more broadly
