Nonprofit: LaGuardia Community College

The college’s mission is to educate a diverse student population to become critical thinkers and socially responsible citizens who elevate themselves and help shape a rapidly evolving society.

Founded in 1971, in Queens, LaGuardia offers a welcoming environment for immigrants and individuals of all backgrounds. A recognized innovator now in sync with an evolving national focus, LaGuardia is helping change the thinking about two year colleges, their role in workforce development and in strengthening the economy.

Project: Technology Strategy

The technology which supports students and faculty has been developed over many years using purchased and internally built systems. The College wants us to review the IT strategy and assess if it adequately supports users as well as making recommendations for revisions and direction.

  • Conduct a user analysis to determine needs and attitudes
  • Review strategic options for development
  • Propose enhancements in process and personnel functions in dealing with development and support
