The Gingold Theatrical Group has reached an inflection point. To promote further growth, GTC seeks to expand and improve the effectiveness of its Board of Directors.

GTC offers programs for audiences across the Greater New York Metropolitan Area. GTC’s productions promote the humanitarian ideals of the activist, award-winning Irish playwright George Bernard Shaw and other socially conscious writers. It also presents new works and adaptations that engage contemporary audiences in dialogue about human rights and free speech.
Through the Project Shaw reading series, GTC was the world’s first production company to stage all 65 of Shaw’s plays. It is currently producing works by Shaw, Wilde, and Maureen Watkins.

The objective of the session is to:

  • Focus on developing strategies to build a more active, strategic, and representative Board of Directors.
  • Key areas of focus include:
    • Developing clear expectations and accountability frameworks,
    • Identifying and recruiting new board members aligned with GTC’s mission and
    • Strengthening board participation in fundraising and ambassadorship.
